Our Story
Desert Flora began in 2018 as a tiny windowsill collection of three cacti in a one-room flat in Delhi. Our founder, Meera Sharma, was captivated by the quiet dignity of these survivors — plants that bloom in the harshest conditions, asking almost nothing and giving so much.
What started as a personal obsession quickly became a community. Friends wanted plants. Friends of friends wanted plants. Before long, Meera was sourcing rare specimens from growers across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra — and Desert Flora was born.
Today we're a team of six passionate botanists and plant enthusiasts, shipping to over 200 cities across India. But the heart of what we do hasn't changed: we believe that every home deserves a little desert magic.
