Lemon Ball Cactus

Native to the arid regions of the south of Brazil, Parodia is a charming cactus species commonly grown as a houseplant. Common names include lemon ball cactus, golden ball cactus and yellow tower cactus. The species features thin golden spines, and gives profuse golden blooms in the growing season - upon reaching maturity - which give a unique and dramatic bouquet-like look on the crown.
